We are a group of neighbors and Seattle citizens who are concerned about the future development/short plat of 700 McGilvra Blvd E. On June 5, via a virtual meeting with the City of Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections, we were able to put our questions and concerns on record, as well as the power point presentation, created by David Moehring of the Trees and People Coalition. We will post the minutes from the meeting as soon as they are available from the City of Seattle.

The Seattle Times article, Seattle's Tree Protection Ordinance: Rising above the canopy cacophony, provides more detail on the threat to Seattle's trees.
The Last 6000, a civic campaign to locate the City of Seattle's remaining majestic trees, and a program of Plant Amnesty, has posted their concerns regarding proposed project as well in their Instagram page.
